I recently started working on a new photo project that I am really excited about. Rather than trying to capture that “one” perfect image that represents a location, I will take 40 – 60 smaller images that represent the various elements of the location and put them together to form the one larger image. One place that I’ve visited many times is Green Lakes State Park in Fayetteville, NY. I have quite a few pictures from different times of the year, different times of the day, and different areas around the lake. My goal over the next few weeks will be to assemble a collection of photos and see what happens… I will post the final product on my “New Things I’m Trying” page and you can decide if it “works” for you. If you want to try this technique I saw it in the September issue of Outdoor Photography. Here’s a few examples that may find their way into this project (click on the image to see the full picture).
