While I was in Boston I took a bunch of photos with my Canon Rebel XT (350D) but haven’t had a chance to process all my photos yet. Boston is a GREAT place to visit and to take photos. Historic sites, buildings, parks, waterfront, aquarium, boats, a whole bunch of stuff that I couldn’t even begin to see in four days. So… in lieu of some “real” shots, I am posting a few shots from my iPhone. When I take photos with my Rebel, I try to process the shots to be as true to the scene as I can. But when I use my iPhone, it’s like playing with a really fun toy. I processed these photos with the Hipstamatic software. My favorite combination of “film” and “lens” is “Kodot XGrizzled” film and the “John S” lens. The pictures below were taken with a few combinations: Kodot XGrizzled with John S lens (church photos, Boston skyline), Kodot XGrizzled with Kaimal Mark II lens (fire escape), Claunch 72 Monochrome with Buckhorst H1 lens (seagull on pier). Which combination do you like?
