Sometimes you get an opportunity to see a landscape, or a skyscape in this instance, from a different perspective. It would be an understatement to say that I am not a fan of flying, but sometimes you just have to beat back your fear and do it. There’s a point to my digression… And it’s that being on a plane at this time of day afforded me the chance to photograph this incredible sunset/skyscape. The colors were brilliant, saturated, deep reds, oranges, blues and purples. There’s no way this would have been this impressive on the ground. I took about 50 shots with my camera before remembering I could post to WordPress if I took a shot with my iPhone. Focusing on the landscape and clouds helped me manage my anxiety.
