It’s been brutally cold here in Central New York for the past few weeks. The temperatures have been in the single digits more often than not with the wind chill dipping below zero on more than a few of the days. Getting outside to take photographs can be a real challenge in this kind of weather but if you dress properly, use some common sense, and keep your camera batteries warm you can capture some beautiful light over the landscape. The picture below is from the park at Onondaga Lake, NY. It was well worth bundling up and trudging through the snow for this one.
Photo information: Canon 5D Mark III, 73 mm, ISO 100, 1/40 sec at f/11 at 6:07pm. Temperature – cold!
