It was near the end of the work day. Chris (chrisstraitphoto.com) stopped by my office to tell me that they were working on the railroad tracks behind our office. It was getting dark and the sparks were flying as they cut the rail (at least that’s what it looked like they were doing). There were a bunch of maintenance of way vehicles – maybe 6 or 7 that we could see and they all looked different. Like something from another planet. Big, chunky, crazily aligned, unusual shapes from what we normally expect to see for construction vehicles. I’m fascinated. I’m not sure if this is a photo that Chris took or one that he let me take using his cool Canon 7D camera but he said I could post it so here it is.
